Rosemary Beetle - (Chrysolina americana)

Rosemary Beetle (Chrysolina americana) originates in Southern Europe and has been found in UK since the mid-1990's. The larvae feed on the foliage of Rosemary and related plants. This one I saw on Lavender in the garden. This is the first time Ive seen one of these beetles.
