This newly fledged Goldfinch made me smile earlier today. Whilst its sibling worked hard trying to get food from the parent bird, this one decided to take things easy. After prodding some of the green leaves out of intrigue it decided it had done enough work for one day and settled down for a good thirty minutes, relaxing and occasionally sleeping. Here it had just woken up, stretched and was soon ready to be fed again :)
