Wild bird - Juvenile Laughing Gull (Leucophaeus atricilla) This young gull has somehow found its way from the East Coast of USA and surrounding areas to the NW shores of England, over the last week or so; possibly caught up in some of the gails that hit our coastline over recent weeks. Its the first time Ive seen one of these and was happy to get a few shots of it resting, earlier today. A 3rd record of this bird for this region of the UK - and a nice treat for observers :)
