An amazing experience this evening (Wednesday 4th March, 2026) to be stood on the beach and have this huge 'wave' of wading birds, the majority being Knot, fly past me so close. The sound was like the whoosh of a million strong army of locust ploughing through a field of crops. A privilege to be present for such an exhilarating experience.
