This scuffle was initiated by the, what seemed, rather violent advances of 3 male Pheasants on a female bird. Her mate defended the situation in a battle with one of the males that lasted 9 minutes, and covered several fields.

The bird on the right has a beak full of feathers belonging to the other bird.
