Clip 2 - One of the first views Ive had of a Barn Owl through the thermal scope.
The brightest areas are the hottest part of the scene. You can see the dark mantle (back) and wings of the Barn Owl, which must be because the bird is just out to hunt and has not warmed up completely. This video clip was taken in total darkness. In clip 1, you can see a pair of Brown hares chasing each other in the background.
