I saw this Kestrel menace the Barn Owls of their prey on a number of occasions this evening. In every incident, the Kestrel made contact with the Owl, in most cases forcing the Owl to drop its catch. Unfortunately, it was almost dark, so the quality of the images are not what I would like; but they do tell the story :)
